Sunflower Plastic division is organised into three business units. Each unit focusing on the specialised needs of its own markets and customers. Our plastic division has become the powerhouse for growth in Sunflower. 

In order to enhance our service to our packaging distributors, our Industrial Zipper Bag business unit has recently acquired a zipper attachment adapter to produce zipper bags from regular film stock. This gives us the flexibility to produce custom size and speciality zipper bags larger than our standard 20”x20” extruded zipper bags. Since the bag is made here in Canada, we are able to cut down our lead-time tremendously. 

Our Consumer Zipper Bag business unit also recently acquired an automatic cartoning machine to boost our production. With the acquisition of this equipment, we are able to bring down our production cost and make our product more competitive in the market.
